Short's Tap Takeover Coming to Ashley's

Hey, Short's Brewing fans, there's an event coming up April 5 you won't want to miss: a tap takeover at Ashley's in Ann Arbor with 20 draft beers from that brewery up north, including some not seen outside the Short's tap room before.  This event comes on the tail of the finals of Ashley's Invitational Brewery Throwdown in Westland the evening before, in which Short's is a participant. So you can either congratulate or console your Short's brethren — I'm guessing beer will be involved in any case.

• Cinnamon Doppelbock: Traditional German Dopplebock with cinnamon
• ControversiALE: American India Pale Ale brewed exclusively with Simcoe hops
• Cup A Joe: Coffee Cream Stout with locally roasted espresso and milk sugar
• Dan's Pink Skirt: American India Pale Ale brewed with Simcoe and Summit hops
• Ginger in the Rye: Rye Munich Ale with fresh ginger

• Love Knife: Belgian Amber Ale
• The Magician: London Red Ale
